During the 12 years it lasted, the Dreyfus Affair tore France apart, causing a real earthquake all over the world. In this immense scandal, probably the greatest of the late 19th century, miscarriages of justice, denial of justice and anti-Semitism are intertwined. The case is told from the point of view of Colonel Picquart who, once appointed head of counterintelligence, will discover that the evidence against Captain Alfred Dreyfus had been fabricated. From that moment on, and at the risk of his career and then his life, he would never stop identifying the real culprits and rehabilitating Alfred Dreyfus.
